Of the 15 or so transporters at the show, most arrived together in the convoy you see here.
A real hit with everyone at the show was Carlos' Subaru pickup atop Dave Gilchrist's 1958 single cab.

Brad Massey checks out the wares.  There was a lot more available to swap this year than there was at WC7.

This is probably the most interesting custom interior of the show.  Manning Wells and his father fabricated the steering wheel, dash handle, door pulls and several of the other accessories you see here.  You can also see the very creative "V-Dub" accents on the pedals and glove box.
Dave Walker didn't win any awards for his oh-so-clean 1962 rag top, but the web guy would like to award Dave the unofficial Best Pose award for this shot.  These cars are all about having fun, after all, and Dave always does.

Manning Wells poses with his raffle winnings while a mischevous Gene Russon adds his "two cents worth."
"Caleb says, 'hi'."  When Al asked the assembled children for volunteers to help pull raffle tickets, he may have gotten a little more than he bargained for.
