It may
have been
virtually the only bay window bus at the show, but Rex Patterson's '77
pop-top was plenty pretty both inside and out. Rex won Best Type
II '68-'79.

|
Brad
Massey's 1967 Westy took Best Type II Camper.

Although
Aaron Alder had
to leave a little early due to other commitments, his gorgeous pearl
white '61 was able to garner enough votes to earn the Best Type I
1958-1967 award.

|
Burley and
Patricia
Burlile have made some interesting modifications to their 1975 super
beetle, such that it won them an award for Best Type I 1968-Later.

Fin
Gillman's 1965 buggy
should look familiar to anyone who frequents this web site; it's the
link to our Contact page! It's also a mighty fine buggy and won
Fin an award for Best Fiberglass Buggy.

Manning
Wells appears to
have added to his uniquely super-cool '69 since last year's show; that
matching swamp cooler, for example. This year he has added a
trophy for
Best Radical Custom.

Jeremy
Lamb's '72 is evidently no stranger to awards, and took home the Best
Engine award at this year's Classic. |
|
Darrell
Locke drove his
1959 single cab all the way from Porterville, CA; farther than any
other person at the show. As such he was awarded $100 gas money
for the trip home. |
